FolkWest has been making beautiful music on Reservoir Hill Park in Pagosa Springs for some 22 years. Experience the magic of this Colorado mountain venue, located on a 130-acre ponderosa pine-covered mesa overlooking the rugged San Juan Mountains.
FolkWest hosts the Pagosa Folk ‘N Bluegrass Festival, June 7th through June 9th, and the Four Corners Folk Festival, August 30th through Sept 1st.
Headliners for the Pagosa Folk ‘N Bluegrass Festival include Sam Reider & the Human Heads, The Travelin’ McCourys, and Del McCoury Band.
For the Four Corners Folk Festival, you’ll have The Mammals, Billy Strings, and Earls of Leicester.
The Pagosa Folk ‘N Bluegrass Festival is especially known for its workshops, which are a tradition that go back to the festival’s very first year. Whether you’re a musician looking for tips and advice or an ardent fan hoping for a peek into the creative process of a performer you admire, the workshop tent is a great place to go.
Food vendors will be on-site for both festivals, with many of them serving breakfast and staying open into the night. Children 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Pets and alcohol are not permitted on the festival grounds. You’re welcome to bring lawn chairs into the event.
Camping is available for both festivals with a three-day pass. Campsites are first come, first served. If you want to camp with friends you should arrive with them.
