The Inaugural CANNIVAL Festival

Seven years later, Colorado reports an economic boom as the marijuana industry generated more economic output than 90% of all other industries in the state.

The Colorado Department of Public Safety also concluded that use among youths does not appear to be increasing and traffic deaths directly attributable to marijuana are down.

Yep, we Coloradans (generally-speaking) are fond of our herb and what legalizing it has done for the state as a whole. If you’re in the pro-pot camp, come celebrate the green leaf lifestyle, at CANNIVAL, a three-day campout festival celebrating life, art, live music, and of course, the legalization of recreational cannabis. Please note, this is a 21 and over event.

Beginning on Friday, April 19th and running through Sunday, April 21st (take note of the dates you sly devils), become part of the first-ever CANNIVAL, where international & local musicians, artists, and enthusiasts alike, gather for unforgettable music and entertainment.

CANNIVAL will take place at I Bar Ranch in Gunnison, Colorado. I Bar Ranch is an authentic western heritage event center 1.5 miles southeast of downtown Gunnison. It is situated on a 10-acre converted hay meadow, 250 feet off of the Tomichi Creek, at the foothills of “W” Mountain.

CANNIVAL’s events include:

  • 420-Olympix
  • Movie lounge featuring classic ganja-loving movie
  • Paint n’ smoke area
  • Morning cannabis sermon and yoga
  • Workshops and open forum discussions
  • Mechanical bull rodeo
  • Glassblowers
